Magic puzzles are inspired by Magic Squares. They’re really straight forward, all you have to do is to put numbers into the empty squares so things add (or subtract) up.
Each puzzle is comprised of squares, white, red or gray. The number in each gray square is the difference between the numbers in the two adjacent white squares. The number in the red square is the sum of the numbers in the two adjacent white (or gray) squares. In the puzzles, the difference between two numbers is positive (e.g. the difference between 5 and 7 equals the difference between 7 and 5 which is 2). Think of difference as a distance between two points, no matter which point you start at, the distance to the other point is always positive.
