Without continual growth, such words as improvement, achievement and success have no meaning” – Ben Franklin

Here’s an original puzzle.  In each puzzle you are presented with a 3-letter word.  In addition, you are given three clues.  For each clue, you must identify a word matching the clue that contains the given 3-letter word.  The clue may be a definition or an example.  Here’s an example to show how it works:

AGE

a. boss

b. anger

c. car home

The solutions to this puzzle are a. MANAGER,  b. RAGE and c. GARAGE.  Each of these three words contain the given 3-letter word AGE.  Not to complicated (I hope?).  In any case, here’s today’s puzzles:

puzzle 1:  ALL

a. money holder

b. art showplace

c. party decoration

puzzle 2:  RAN

a. hypnotic state

b. fruit

c. odd

puzzle 3:  ATE

a. prisoner

b. hockey gear

c. destiny
